Proceedings (Submission Guidelines) Deutsch

For all sub-conferences and workshops, which will be published in the common proceedings, the following dates and guidelines apply. Which sub-conferences in the common proceedings will be published, refer to the sub-conferences information pages (see menu above).

Important dates :

  • 30.09.2007: Submission of the contributions to chair of the sub-conference/workshop
  • 05.11.2007: Publication of the review results by the chair of the sub-conference/workshop
  • 03.12.2007: Submission of the final versions to chair of the sub-conference/workshop
  • 10.12.2007: Delivery of the final versions and prefaces of the sub-conference to MKWI Proceedings Chair, Professor Dr. Martin Bichler

Information regarding publication of submissions:

We encourage all authors to prepare two versions:

  • Short contribution: 1 - 2 pages
    • Please use this Word-Template for your short paper
    • Should be submitted in MS word format
    • Short version will be published in the common proceedings
  • Long contribution: 12 pages includes any tables, appendices, etc
    • Please use this Word-Template for your longer paper
    • Should be submitted in PDF format
    • Full paper will be included in common proceedings only in electronic CD format
  • The conference only accepts full paper submissions of long and short papers. Full papers without short version or only a short version will be rejected.
  • Please submit your paper in German or English.
  • The layout templates for the submission are to be considered strictly.
  • Please submit your contribution before the submission deadline to the responsible chairs for sub-conferences/workshops. You will get the email or upload address on the sub-conferences information pages.
  • The authors agree that the submitted contribution will be used by the organisers for publishing the text in the common proceeding physically and electronically.

For the organisers of the sub-conferences/workshops:

A) How to write the sub-conference/workshop preface

The sub-conference/workshop preface will be printed before the short versions of the papers. For this purpose a Word document should be submitted by the responsible chair:

  • Please use this Word-Template for the preamble
  • Length of the preamble : 1-2 pages per sub-conference/workshop.

B) How to send the final papers and preamble to the organisers

The deadline for submission of all contributions (papers, abstracts, preambles) to the MKWI chair proceedings (Prof. Dr. Martin Bichler) is 10.12.2007. A ftp-server will be available to upload all relevant documents. We will send the access information to the chairs in time.
